Epigraph:
In our minds it feels like we’re screaming into a vast, unanswering void. Blaise Pascal captures that terror perfectly:
“The eternal silence of these infinite spaces terrifies me.”
Even more terrifying is when the scream escapes the mind, only to receive no answer back.
To The Lonely
By GlitchedCat

If we posted would you respond...
Waiting, wanting,
In this liminal space,
Lost.
Feeling too unsure; What to do?
Running, searching
Trying to exit the mind.
Fear.
We the lonely people here now
Risking nothing,
Fearing the cost of connection
Why?
Way too many expectations
turning, pushing
Us away from each other.
Alone.
When did the risk of connection outweigh
the pain of the loneliness that we carry?
