What do you do when an art piece isn’t turning out; It is not meeting the vision you had. That is where I am at. In the past that has stopped my creativity cold for long periods of time. I am trying to reflect on that.
The current vision is to have a piece of glitched art representing “Ego death”. I tried a digital painting, it doesn’t have the look I want. I am not a great painter, but the issue is not it being bad or good. The vision I had is not satisfied and I feel so unsatiated. I did a black and white illustration, I have the same empty feeling about it. I have one more thing to try, a photo edit, but it will have to wait until I have help shooting some photos.

This leaves me unsatiated.
Well… like a phoenix out of the ashes something new came out of what felt like a dead piece leaving me feeling cold about my art. It is not quite as satisfying as what I had in mind, but I will take it as some nourishment to my art hunger. A new piece has arisen, and I call it static prayer. One solution, I suppose, to the problem I am reflecting on is for the project to morph into something new. But, what do we do when that is not an option?
